A message from Pastor Monika and Pastor Ben:
Let's pray together!
Dear friends,
We invite you into a time of mutual prayer, for one another and our wider community as we face the coming days and weeks of uncertainty. We invite you to stop and spend a few moments in prayer each day at 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Let's start and end each day bringing our concerns to our loving God, in whom we place our trust. Light a candle if you wish, to symbolize the light of Christ in our midst.
God of light and love,
We come before you in heartfelt prayer in the midst of our confusion. Your whole human family is in turmoil and burdened with illness and fear. Hear our cry O God-- Hear our prayer. Healing God, we pray for all who are ill this day. We pray for their loved ones and all whom they hold in their hearts. God of blessings, grant strength and endurance to all healthcare workers, to all who commit to lessening the devastation of this virus. Grant wisdom and compassion to our political leaders, our medical authorities, researchers, and those focused on developing a vaccine. God of all, sustain the many whose livelihood is impacted by closures, restrictions, and quarantines. Protect and guard all who must travel. God of infinite love, hold all who have died, or will die this day. Comfort their loved ones in their despair. Remember all your family, Lord and hold us in love. Amen
